Weekly starting points

Choose a cadence before choosing a chef

Plans describe the service rhythm. The chef’s quote confirms the actual scope and price for your household.

What changes the price

Scope is personal. The math should not be mysterious.

  • Household size or event guest count
  • City, travel radius, and chef availability
  • Menu complexity and number of meals or courses
  • Weekly cadence versus one-time service
  • Optional table service, assistant, or add-ons
  • Approved grocery choices and dietary requirements
Pricing questions

The fine print, in plain language

What exactly am I paying for?

Three items are shown separately: the chef’s service fee, groceries reimbursed at receipt cost, and the platform fee that supports marketplace operations, payments, vetting, and support.

Do you mark up groceries?

No. You approve an estimate before shopping and review the receipt after. Bring A Chef takes no commission on grocery reimbursement.

Where do tips go?

Tips are optional and pass through 100% to your chef. The platform takes nothing from tips.

Why do starting prices vary?

Location, chef, household or guest count, cadence, menu complexity, service style, and optional staff can change the service fee. Groceries vary with the approved menu and preferences.

What about cancellations?

The applicable cancellation window and any late-cancellation charge are shown before confirmation because the chef reserves time and begins planning ahead of a visit.

Is recurring service less expensive?

Chefs may price repeat service differently because planning becomes more efficient and a steady schedule has value. Your exact recurring price remains visible before confirmation.
