Coverage depends on active chef service radii and schedule. Enter your ZIP code to check the current path for your neighborhood. The city content and chef profiles on this preview are illustrative until live supply is activated.
This service-area template currently highlights Mueller, Westlake, Hyde Park, Circle C, and East Austin. Actual coverage is confirmed by address and chef radius.
Every chef completes identity verification, a background screening through a licensed provider, food safety credential review, and a manual approval by our trust team before they can be booked. Chefs are reviewed under platform safety standards — we never publish screening details.
Your chef sends a grocery estimate before the visit. You approve it, the chef shops (or uses what you have), and the receipt is uploaded for your review. Groceries are pass-through — Bring A Chef takes 0% commission on them.
You always see the chef’s service fee, the grocery estimate, and the platform fee before you book. Weekly service starts around $98–$135 per visit plus groceries, depending on your city and household size. Tips are optional and go 100% to your chef.
Chefs see your neighborhood while proposing menus. Your exact address is shared only after your booking is confirmed, and access is time-limited around the visit.
Check coverage first. If service is available, your household profile becomes the brief for every chef match and menu.
